The weather for the coming week will mostly be sunny with brief afternoon showers. On Tuesday, there will be brief thunderstorms in the afternoon north of Chiayi and in Yilan. On Wednesday, brief afternoon rain is expected in areas north of Pingtung and south of Taichung in western Taiwan, as well as in Yilan. From Thursday to the weekend, most parts of western Taiwan and Yilan will experience mostly cloudy conditions with brief afternoon showers. Minimum temperatures across the regions will be above 26°C, with highs reaching 33–35°C. Take precautions against heatstroke and sunburn due to the high temperatures.
