Due to the erratic path of Typhoon Jongdari, which resembles a large question mark and has swept across multiple areas in Japan, it has caused considerable damage. On the 31st, it approached Kyushu, so travelers should exercise extra caution.
Affected by the lingering presence of Typhoon Jongdari, the foehn effect caused by high-pressure systems around the typhoon has led to continued high temperatures across Japan. Meanwhile, as Typhoon Jongdari moves toward mainland China, warm air from China has shifted southward and enveloped Taiwan, resulting in recent temperatures soaring to 36–37°C. On Thursday, southerly winds will bring increased moisture, offering slightly more chances of rain, but temperatures will remain high.
