Visit children's theme parks and ride the Maokong Gondola to your heart’s content — the “super value combo ticket” is just 200 per person

Taipei City Children’s Amusement Park and the Maokong Gondola have joined forces for the first time to exclusively launch a limited-edition “super value combo ticket,” from July 11 to August 31,for just 200 NTD per person, you can enjoy unlimited rides on the amusement park’s attractions on weekdays and ride the Maokong Gondola as many times as you like.

Taipei Rapid Transit Corporation announced today that this super value combo ticket will go on salestarting July 11 (Monday) at the ticket booth of the Children’s Amusement Park, and from July 12 (Tuesday) at the Maokong Gondola Zoo Station. The tickets are valid until August 31,with a limited exclusive release of 1,000 sets— first come, first served, once they’re gone, they’re gone.

Taipei Metro said,taking the example of parents bringing two elementary school-aged children, visiting the 13 attractions at the Children’s Amusement Park along with admission fees would normally cost 1,330 NTD, while parents using the Maokong Gondola’s round-trip super value ticket (each priced at 260 NTD, with a 20 NTD deposit refundable upon return, valid for one unlimited-distance round trip during the validity period, plus one free additional ride) to ride the gondola, and children using discounted tickets (nationwide children aged 6 to under 12 can purchase discounted tickets on-site with ID, costing 50 NTD per ride), also calculated for three rides, would amount to 780 NTD, totaling 2,110 NTD. But with the super value combo ticket, just 200 NTD per person gives you access to both major attractions,

after purchasing the super value combo ticket,holders can exchange it for a single-use wristband at the Children’s Amusement Park Visitor Service Center or the Maokong Gondola Zoo Station. On the day of use, simply show the wristband to staffto enjoy unlimited access to the amusement park’s rides and unlimited rides on the Maokong Gondola.

Taipei Metro pointed out,the Children’s Amusement Park and Maokong Gondola tickets do not need to be used on the same day, tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable once sold, and will not be reissued if lost or expired. Taipei Metro also reminds that the super value combo ticket cannot be combined with other promotional offers at the Children’s Amusement Park.

In addition,the “Children’s Amusement Park” app, which features an attraction reservation function, has been launched. Users can reserve a time slot in advance, then check in on-site according to the time, greatly saving queuing time, and can also check the “Attraction Wait Times” information at any time to better plan the play order.

As for the Maokong Gondola, Taipei Metro said that due to expected high visitor numbers during the summer vacation, it recommends that the public make use of the online reservation system for the Maokong Gondola to reduce waiting times on-site and better plan their travel itinerary.
