Extreme Clam Hot Pot
Located in Taipei’s Minsheng community, Extreme Clam Hot Pot has garnered much attention for its generous servings of clams and unique cooking style.

A generous amount of fresh clams is steamed to produce a rich and concentrated clam essence, creating a natural clam broth. This is then combined with a six-hour-braised bone broth—no salt or additives are added, resulting in a sweet, nutritious soup. After all the ingredients are cooked, the remaining clam essence broth is mixed with rice and beaten eggs to create an amazing clam congee. Nothing goes to waste—not even a drop of the precious broth.

In addition, Extreme Clam also offers bold set meals such as Boston lobster combos, and the side dishes aren’t limited to just congee—you can also try the store’s exclusive cheese udon noodles, available only here in Taiwan.
