The path of Yagi will bring it closest to Taiwan between Sunday and Monday. Meanwhile, Japan is being hit by Typhoon Shanshan, so be extra cautious as Yagi may also move northward toward Japan. Travelers planning to visit Japan in the coming days should pay special attention to flight and weather conditions. Yagi’s path also has a high likelihood of making landfall in Shanghai—those traveling to Shanghai or nearby areas in the near future should also stay alert.

After Friday, weather changes will gradually be felt from north to south, with an increased chance of afternoon thunderstorms. Temperatures across Taiwan will remain high at 33–35°C on Saturday and Sunday, with frequent afternoon thunderstorms. On Monday, southern Taiwan and Taitung will see overcast skies with rain, and temperatures will drop slightly. Remember to carry rain gear when going out.
