Typhoon Mindulle (No. 14, international name YAGI) intensified into a tropical storm, located 270 kilometers southwest of the Ryukyu Islands, moving northwest at a speed of 24 kilometers per hour. After affecting Okinawa, it will make landfall on the coast of Zhejiang, China.

Affected by the peripheral circulation of Typhoon Mindulle, the northern and northeastern parts of Taiwan turned cloudy with rain on the morning of the 12th. Over the next week, the whole of Taiwan will experience high temperatures with brief afternoon showers. The high temperatures across Taiwan are slightly lower compared to last week, still reaching 34–35°C. After Wednesday, under the influence of a low-pressure system, the entire island will be cloudy with rain, continuing through the weekend. Those planning outdoor trips, hiking, or camping in the south over the weekend should closely monitor the weather.
