Makes his first visit to Taiwan, Takeshi Suga was greeted with enthusiastic cheers from fans as soon as he appeared, with cosplayers dressed as Kamen Riders sitting in the front row giving him a warm welcome.
Takeshi Suga signed a white T-shirt as a gift for fans.
Takeshi Suga sampled various Taiwanese snacks at the press conference. When he tried iron eggs, he was surprised, thinking they were chocolate balls, exclaiming that it was a texture he had never experienced in Japan and found it very unique.
The press conference interviews were followed by fan meet-and-greet photo sessions.
Takeshi Suga also performed his character’s transformation moves on stage several times. In the end, he signed three white T-shirts to give to fans and mentioned he looks forward to visiting Jiufen for sightseeing and trying out hot pot.
The 2018 Comic Exhibition drew a large crowd of visitors.
Additionally, on Saturday, August 18 at 11:00 AM, there will be a “Kamen Rider ~ Takeshi Suga Talk & Autograph Session,” which fans of Kamen Rider should not miss.
Many mascots, figures, and cosplayers could be seen walking around at the comic exhibition site.
