The 2018 Taichung World Flora Exposition opens on November 3. In collaboration with Condé Nast Hua She Group, the Taichung City Government has successfully enlisted a number of international companies including Franz Porcelain, Pacific Cycles, and Shi Shang Enterprise to launch exclusive Expo-themed products — such as floral series porcelain artworks, lifelike Formosan clouded leopard plush toys, and hand-painted floral bicycles — together creating an international-level branded celebration of the flower expo.

Starting from the opening of the flower expo, Franz Porcelain will showcase floral series porcelain artworks at designated counters worldwide on a monthly basis, using the power of art to share the beauty of the 2018 Taichung Flower Expo with the world. Additionally, Shi Shang Enterprise, the exclusive agent for Australian HANSA handcrafted plush toys, has specially created lifelike Formosan clouded leopard plush toys in response to the expo. The exquisite craftsmanship and striking realism of the toys are truly remarkable, and the brand hopes to use them to raise public awareness about environmental protection.

Pacific Cycles, certified under Taiwan Excellence, has launched a floral series painted bicycle. As an eco-friendly and healthy mode of transport, the bicycle aligns perfectly with the flower expo’s emphasis on nature and ecological conservation. Meanwhile, Mei Guan Leather, a brand rooted in Taichung with international reach, will help promote the event through its global network of over a thousand outlets under its LOJEL luggage and Traveler Station brands.

Taipei’s Regent Taipei Hotel will also leverage its global resources to support the flower expo’s publicity efforts. Fashion illustrator Gary Tu has joined the flower expo initiative and plans to release a limited-edition T-shirt in response to the event. Taiwanese brand iROO will draw inspiration from its design aesthetics tailored to urban Taiwanese women to help promote the beauty of the flower expo. Unta Camera is sponsoring floral-themed filters, while well-known Taiwanese gift brand “Walk by the Sea” is also enthusiastically joining the cause through its official website and social media platforms.
