Located on the northwestern corridor of the Alishan National Scenic Area, Ruifeng Haishu Mountain stands at an altitude of 1,314 meters. The Haishu Mountain Viewing Platform at the summit takes its name from the elevation—displaying "1314 Viewing Platform," which sounds like "One Life, One Love Viewing Platform." It has not only become a romantic check-in spot on Instagram, but the Love Tower also features the phrase "I love you" in multiple languages, making it an ideal place for couples to take photos, show affection, or even confess their love.
The 360-degree view from the top of Ruifeng Haishu Mountain is vast, offering sights of Alishan, Dajian and Xiao Jian Mountains, and Bihu Mountain. If you time your visit right, you can also enjoy the sunrise over tea fields amidst sea of clouds and the sunset with evening glow, both of which are truly uplifting.
The outwardly simple "1314 Viewing Platform," originally named Haishu Mountain Viewing Platform, set against the blue sky and green tea fields, evokes the pure beauty of first love. Stepping up to the highest point of the viewing platform offers an even broader view of the undulating emerald landscape, with tea farmers moving through the endless tea terraces, adding a serene touch to the scene.
