1.Houlong Cape of Good Hope
The Cape of Good Hope Scenic Area features a vast observation deck and massive, towering white wind turbines, making it perfect for leisurely walks, enjoying the sea and sunset. A path beneath the observation deck leads to a road along the shore, and train enthusiasts can also come here to photograph trains. There are usually more street vendors on holidays.

In addition to the breathtaking coastal views, there are also historic cultural sites nearby. Public Transport: Take the Western Line of the Taiwan Railways from the coastal route to Houlong Station. Alternatively, transfer to Miaoli Bus bound for Houlong at Zhunan Station.
Driving: From the south, take the Zhongshan Expressway and exit at Toufen Interchange, then follow Provincial Highway 1 southbound. From the north, exit at Miaoli Interchange on the Zhongshan Expressway and follow Provincial Highway 6 northbound.
2.Wanggong Wind Power Area
The Wanggong Wind Power Area is located on the Changbin Coast, featuring futuristic-looking turbines. The dense cluster of three-bladed wind turbines, set against the endless wetlands and blue skies with white clouds, have been described by some as resembling an alien secret base, while others humorously say they look like a field of standing eggbeaters.
