The Japanese brand Shiseido, known for its cosmetics, also runs SHISEIDO PARLOUR, a century-old premium Western-style restaurant in Ginza that’s a must-visit for sweets and coffee. This September 1st, it will open at Taipei Sogo Zhongxiao Branch B2, bringing Shiseido’s century-old sweets to Taiwan.

The dessert shop SHISEIDO PARLOUR at Taipei Sogo focuses on takeaway cookies and sweets, offering bestsellers such as brandy cake, curry kits, ganache cocoa, and seven-treasure cookies. Among them, the most popular item, "Flower Petal Cookies," features prints of the Shiseido camellia pattern. These butter cookies from Denmark are filled with lemon cream, offering a rich yet not overly sweet taste.

Last year marked the 115th anniversary of SHISEIDO PARLOUR and the 60th anniversary of Shiseido Taiwan. During the Christmas season, SHISEIDO PARLOUR held a one-month pop-up at Taipei Sogo with strong results, also selling a limited-edition 24-piece pack of Flower Petal Cookies in a commemorative can for the 115th anniversary.
