Taiwan’s alcoholic beverage market continues to grow, and the drinking culture among locals is becoming increasingly sophisticated. Asahi Beer Taiwan has partnered with the well-known gastropub “Cat Down” to launch a collaborative pop-up shop starting today on the first-floor outdoor street area of Taipei’s Breeze Songgao store, creating an “Asahi SUPER DRY Fashionable Pop-Up Beer Bar.” Beer enthusiasts can enjoy the trendiest street-side drinking experience in the Xinyi District.

The “Asahi SUPER DRY Fashionable Pop-Up Beer Bar” will be open from now until November 4. Following its launches in New York and Seoul, Taipei’s Xinyi District marks the third global location for this stylish pop-up beer bar. For this event, “Cat Down” has specially prepared its popular signature dishes, including champion fries, fried chicken, and a limited-edition “Cat Down” dish, all paired with Asahi SUPER DRY, offering visitors an exclusive late summer to early autumn evening experience.

The limited-time pop-up offers two beer options: draft beer and dark beer. Additionally, a special edition draft beer surprise has been introduced—Asahi’s hidden dark beer mixed with draft beer in a 7:3 ratio. This blend combines the rich malt aroma of the former with the refreshing taste of the latter, creating a unique flavor and texture unlike any other.

This event also features a limited import of international-style draft beer glasses, made with thicker glass to maintain the beer’s cool temperature. There is also a “KARAKUCHI” SERVE and 7:3 draft beer foam golden ratio experience zone. Through Asahi’s specially developed seven-step pouring technique for keg draft beer known as “KARAKUCHI” SERVE, beer fans who love Asahi SUPER DRY for its “refreshing taste,” “clean finish,” and “creamy foam” can experience it all onsite.
