Typhoon No. 22, Mangkhut (international name MANGKHUT), has intensified into a severe typhoon. Its current center is located at 14.00°N, 141.20°E. The previous movement direction was westward, with a speed of 25 km/h, and central pressure at 925 hPa. Its future path may affect central and southern Taiwan, so heightened precautions are needed.

Typhoon No. 23, Barijat (international name BARIJAT), is a mild typhoon. Its current center is located at 20.80°N, 118.40°E, moving in a southwestwesterly direction at 24 km/h. It may affect areas such as Hong Kong, Hainan Island, and regions south of Guangzhou in the coming days. Those planning to visit these areas should pay close attention to weather developments.
The weather bureau has lifted the heavy rain special warning. From Thursday through the weekend, the probability of afternoon rainfall in southern and eastern regions will significantly increase. Travelers should take extra care.
