Giant Moon Rabbit Welcomes Mid-Autumn Festival – Dazzling Fire Dragon Performance Draws Attention

In collaboration with internationally renowned Australian artist Amanda Parer, ten giant moon rabbit art installations — which have toured over 80 cities and 40 international art festivals — will be displayed from September 19 to October 17. These striking white rabbits appear dreamlike before your eyes.

Australian artist Amanda Parer is famous for her massive white rabbit installations, which have been exhibited in more than 80 cities including France, the UK, Finland, Germany, the US, Canada, Portugal, Turkey, and South Korea, as well as at over 40 international art festivals such as the National Gallery Singapore, London Winter Lights Festival, and San Francisco Art Commission Gallery. With up to 6 million viewers worldwide, this is truly a world-class art exhibition.

For the first time in Hong Kong, ten uniquely designed, giant glowing moon rabbits (five large and five small), the tallest reaching up to 7 meters, will be displayed. The reason for choosing two iconic landmarks in Hong Kong Island and Kowloon — China Hong Kong City boasts expansive views of Victoria Harbour and is just a stone’s throw away from the upcoming West Kowloon Cultural District, while Lee Tung Street has in recent years blended modern art with traditional Chinese cultural installations, making it an ideal spot for festive celebrations.

Traditional festivities wouldn’t be complete without Lee Tung Street’s signature lantern art decorations. This year, for the first time, cutting-edge remote lighting technology paired with iBeacon push notifications will be introduced, alongside over 800 colorful lanterns, creating a unique “Light & Shadow · Lee Tung.” Visitors can even use the Lee Tung Street mobile app to control the lanterns and immerse themselves in the festive atmosphere in 360 degrees. Additionally, join the “Lantern Hunt & Riddle Guessing” mini-game in the app for a chance to win prizes.
