Asia’s largest teddy bear museum has officially opened its doors to the public. Covering an area of 1,380 pyeong, the museum houses 3,000 teddy bears, blends in Hakka culture from Hsinchu, and features themed exhibitions of teddy bears from around the world—including life-size teddy bears, tiny adorable miniature ones, as well as a celebrity teddy bear zone showcasing famous personalities—making it both unique and fun!

The Teddy Bear Museum is located in Guanxi, Hsinchu. The first floor lobby hosts the “Global Village Teddy Bears” themed exhibition, symbolizing a big family of cultural integration. There’s also a teddy bear DIY workshop where you can make your own teddy bear to take home as a souvenir. The second floor features an interactive fashion-themed area, a mini teddy bear section, curated thematic displays, and an eco-education focused polar bear zone. Meanwhile, the B1 floor is home to the Celebrity Teddy Bear Zone, showcasing figures like Marilyn Monroe and Einstein, allowing children to get to know world-famous personalities through teddy bears.

The Teddy Bear Museum also changes its theme-based exhibits seasonally and during holidays, so every visit brings a fresh look at the teddy bear displays. Additionally, the museum incorporates elements of Hakka culture from Hsinchu, and is paired with nearby attractions such as Guanxi’s Niulang River and Dong’an Ancient Bridge, helping to promote local industries and tourism in Guanxi.
