Established in 1989, the TTG Travel Awards recognize the most outstanding organizations and individuals in the travel industry across the Asia Pacific region. This year’s awards featured four categories: travel service providers, travel agencies, outstanding achievements, and the Travel Hall of Fame.

The “Travel Service Providers” category uses a voting mechanism where TTG readers vote for organizations they believe have demonstrated excellence based on a set of established criteria. The criteria for the “Best City Hotel” category include best services and facilities, best value-added benefits, and the most professional sales and marketing team in terms of innovative concepts and services.
Since 1971, Mandarin Orchard Singapore has won numerous awards in Asian hotel evaluations within Singapore. The hotel has a total of 1,077 rooms, all offering beautiful views of the city skyline. Rooms come with a free movie streaming platform where guests can watch the latest Hollywood blockbusters; there is also a smartphone solution that includes free international calls and unlimited 4G data across the island.
The hotel features over 30,000 square feet of multi-functional meeting and event spaces. The Meritus Club Lounge is located on Top of the M, providing personalized services exclusively for Meritus Club members.
Among the hotel’s restaurants, the most famous is Chatterbox, renowned for its Hainanese chicken rice. There is also the well-known Sichuan restaurant Shisen Hanten by Chen Kentaro, which is currently the highest-rated Chinese restaurant in Singapore on the Michelin Guide.
