In recent years, local governments across Taiwan have been actively developing parent-child inclusive parks and playgrounds, transforming traditional public spaces into distinctive parks. Chiayi City Cultural Park is one of the recently opened inclusive parks, filled with tree frog-shaped play equipment that’s super eye-catching.

Chiayi City Cultural Park is the first inclusive playground in the Yunlin, Chiayi, and Tainan region. The park takes the “Formosan Tree Frog” as its thematic inspiration. The entrance archway, seesaws, educational game facilities, and more are all designed in the shape of tree frogs. Even the park floors and various corners feature adorable tree frog designs.

The park offers a total of 12 facilities, including the Frog Slide, sand table and sandbox area, inclusive accessible merry-go-round, trampoline, seesaws, and bird’s nest swings. There’s also exercise equipment popular with seniors, making it ideal for grandparents to bring their grandchildren for outdoor activity and play. The children’s play equipment avoids traditional generic designs, opting instead for inclusive play structures that are humanized, barrier-free, and certified to CNS national standards—ensuring safe fun for kids.

Additionally, when children are using and playing on the park’s equipment, parents should pay extra attention to their safety. Do not move the play facilities arbitrarily to avoid injuries or damage.
