Taiwan’s most lively Halloween event in Xinzhuang takes place on October 27th with a full street closure and grand celebration. In addition to the EDM party, participants in the costume parade can win prizes such as an iPhone Xs and robotic vacuum cleaners. There are also family-friendly activities like trick-or-treating and Halloween DIY workshops, along with games loved by children such as ball pits, LEGO claw machines, and pinball machines — a fun-filled day and night for both kids and adults.

The “Halloween DIY” workshops start at 1 PM, featuring face painting, mask making, lantern crafting, tote bag crafting, pet costume crafting, stage performances, and a parade — each lasting half an hour, with five sessions available for online registration throughout the day. “Trick-or-Treat” is designed for children aged 3–12 who dress up in Halloween costumes to visit shops for candy.

Starting at 2:30 PM is Taiwan’s largest costume street parade, open to individuals or groups. Participants dress up as various figures or ghosts using makeup, costumes, and cosplay, interacting with shops and the public, and showcasing talent performances incorporating their costume characters on stage. The top prize is NT$120,000, with limited registration for only 100 participants, who will also receive a NT$200 shopping district voucher.

“Run!, Fuzhong Ghost Tag” begins at 4 PM. Players must protect their health points from being taken by zombies while completing mission checkpoints. There are six registration slots available online. “Picnic Movie Night” starts at 6 PM, featuring a drive-in screening of Hotel Transylvania 2 on the main street, plus Halloween fun with the kids’ favorite Vanilla the Clown.

The EDM party starts at 6:30 PM, featuring special guests WU CHO YUAN, The Little Men Band, MAFANA, and DJ-High Skool, blending R&B, rock, jazz, reggae, blues, and more to turn the street into a nightclub. The closed-street EDM party invites everyone to dance, and those who register in advance will receive a glow-in-the-dark pumpkin headband.
