The highly anticipated 2018 Taichung World Flora Exposition officially kicked off on November 3. This floral expo features three major exhibition areas: the "Waipu District," the "Houli Horse Ranch Forest Park," and the "Fengyuan Huludun Park." And below are ten incredibly beautiful and photogenic highlights you definitely shouldn’t miss.

1.Waipu District Le Nong Pavilion (Happy Farm Pavilion)
The Waipu District benefits from a uniquely favorable climate and geographical environment, nurturing a rich variety of fruits and flowers all year round. It focuses on agricultural leisure experiences and environmental education, showcasing various aspects from breeding and production to processing and sales. The Le Nong Pavilion conveys a lifestyle of slow food and slow living.

2. Listening to the Sound of Blooming Flowers
The “Listening to the Sound of Blooming Flowers” installation garnered widespread attention after its debut on November 1.
“Listening to the Sound of Blooming Flowers” is a successful cross-sector collaboration between industry, government, academia, and art. It is also the most magnificent work by “Luxury Logico” in its eight-year history. Led overall by artist Chang Keng-Hua, with creative director and motion director Lin Kun-Ying, art director Chen Chih-Chien, and environmental control system coordination by TECO Technology Corp. The mechanical dynamic aesthetics were executed in collaboration with Flying Image Digital and 3Page Design, involving hundreds of people. The performance music was supervised by Golden Melody Award-winning crossover musician Chen Chien-Chi.
“Listening to the Sound of Blooming Flowers” features a series of synchronized performances of sound, light, and mechanical movement every 30 minutes. Shows run from 9 AM to 7 PM from Sundays to Thursdays, with a special nighttime light and sound show at 6:30 PM on those five days. On Fridays and Saturdays, shows run from 9 AM to 9 PM.
3.Houli Forest Park and Corporate Pavilion
The “Forest Park” within the Houli District was originally a military barracks site covering approximately 15.18 hectares. This area adopts the concept of a forest cycle system, designed around the principle of natural symbiosis, allowing visitors to experience the floral expo ambiance of a “forest garden.”
