1.Chiang Kai-shek Pier
Located in front of the Hilton Sun Moon Lake Resort (formerly known as Hao-Bi-Lou), Chiang Kai-shek Pier offers stunning and diverse beauty both day and night. The sunrise and sunset reflect beautifully on the lake’s surface, making it a dreamy paradise highly recommended by literary youths and photography enthusiasts.

2.Xiangshan Visitor Center
Overlooking the entire landscape of Sun Moon Lake, the Xiangshan Visitor Center features two large-span roof structures that immediately catch the eye. Although it's a building, it resembles a piece of art. With its fair-faced concrete construction harmonizing with the surrounding natural environment, the perfect blend of art and nature creates the unique beauty of Sun Moon Lake.

3.Jiufen Green Tunnel
Stretching along Provincial Highway 16 from Mingshan to Jiji near Sun Moon Lake, the tunnel is lined with leafy camphor trees. Spanning 4.8 kilometers, it is now lush with greenery and often shrouded in mist. When trains run parallel through this densely canopied green tunnel, the beautiful scenery outside the windows—shady camphor forests and mountain streams—rolls by, creating a relaxing and refreshing experience full of greenery.

4.Sun Moon Lake Viewing Platform
Extending from the existing bike path out over the lake, this platform is about 10 meters high with a perforated floor design, making the walk quite thrilling. It provides a 270-degree panoramic view of Sun Moon Lake, allowing you to take in over 80% of the scenic area including Shuishe Dam, Hanbi Peninsula, and Lalu Island. You can also enjoy the leisurely sight of boats gliding across the lake.
