1. Blue Curry
Hokkaido, located at Japan’s northernmost tip, offers views of drift ice in the Okhotsk Sea during winter. One eatery has introduced blue curry with chicken pieces that look like ice floating on the sea. Though some Japanese netizens say it actually tastes good, the striking blue color may still make you hesitate before taking a bite.

2. Blue Ramen
