The Taichung City Fiber Arts Museum is the first professional museum in Taichung and the only museum in Taiwan dedicated to the theme of "fiber crafts." With the development goal of "fiber 0? [text obscured], it combines environmental technology, aesthetics, industrial design, agriculture, and ecology to provide a comprehensive range of cultural experiences.

The first floor hosts the special exhibition "Weaving Bamboo 'Knowing Bamboo'," showcasing fashionable and eco-friendly bamboo craft works from both domestic and international artists. The collaboration between French designers, Taiwanese designers, and craftsmen can be seen here, along with guidance from Japanese bamboo artist Nakashio Hajime, who came to Taiwan to teach bamboo art. The woven floral creations echo the ever-blooming flowers of the Taichung Flower Expo and the concept of sustainable resources.

The Fiber Museum was designed by architect Chiang Le-Ching. The first floor features special exhibitions and a gift shop, the second floor houses a restaurant and the special exhibition "Fiber Bloom – A Feast of Flowers," which uses flowers as its theme to display the integration of traditional textile fibers with floral elements. The third floor is not open to the public and houses professional classrooms, while the fourth floor is for administrative offices. The entire building combines exhibition, education, tourism, and leisure functions to create a warm and inviting space.

The Taichung City Fiber Arts Museum offers free admission. In addition to exhibitions on the first and second floors, it also provides workshops on embroidery painting, wool felting, bamboo weaving, and indigo dyeing. On weekend afternoons from 2:00 to 4:00 PM during November and December, hands-on crafting activities are held, with the first 20 registrants able to participate for free.
