1. Weiwuying National Kaohsiung Center for the Arts
The Weiwuying National Kaohsiung Center for the Arts is not only a new landmark of Kaohsiung but also the largest arts and cultural venue in Taiwan, as well as the biggest single-theater architectural complex in all of Asia. Surrounded by the sea, its wave-like form and free-flowing white curves resemble a giant fish gracefully gliding into the earth, blending seamlessly with the surrounding environment. The vast grounds make it perfect for travelers to take photos, go on dates, or bring their kids along.

2. New Kaohsiung Station
The new Kaohsiung Station, jointly developed by the Kaohsiung MRT and Taiwan Railways, features a sleek, all-white design and a distinctive cloud-patterned ceiling — a must-photograph spot for visitors. Travelers arriving in Kaohsiung via public transport will be welcomed by this beautiful station right at their first step in the city.

3. Pier-2 Art Center
Located in Yancheng District of Kaohsiung, the Pier-2 Art Center is an international art and cultural creative platform built around the concepts of avant-garde, experimentation, and innovation. The area hosts numerous cultural venues of all sizes, making it a great place for children to have fun and adults to relax. Its proximity to the docks also makes it ideal for romantic strolls and bike rides.

4. Gangshan Eye
Kaohsiung’s first skywalk, “Gangshan Eye,” is located within the Little Gangshan Park. With a main tower height of 40.5 meters, it connects to an 88-meter-long corridor via 24 suspension cables. From the top of Gangshan Eye, visitors can enjoy sweeping views of the Agongdian Reservoir, Big and Little Gangshan Mountains, and the Taiwan Strait, offering a breathtaking panoramic vista of greater Kaohsiung.
