After Tuesday, temperatures will drop significantly. The greater Taipei area (Taipei, New Taipei, Keelung) and eastern regions (Yilan, Hualien, Taitung) will experience rainy conditions for almost the entire week. Rain will ease slightly on Friday but may return on Saturday, with temperatures falling to between 21–24°C, and even dropping below 20°C in Lienchiang County. In other regions, the day-night temperature difference will be quite large, ranging between 20–28°C, with lower temperatures in the mornings, evenings, and mountainous areas—stay warm.

In addition, recent air quality has been poor. The EPA has issued orange alerts for Miaoli, Sanyi, Yunlin–Chiayi–Tainan, and Kaohsiung–Pingtung regions, advising sensitive groups to take extra care. Red alerts have been issued for central Taiwan, where air quality is deemed unhealthy for all groups, and outdoor activities are recommended to be reduced.
On the 12th (Monday), northeasterly winds will strengthen and continue to affect conditions through the 15th. Areas north of central Taiwan and the eastern half will have better dispersion conditions, leading to improved air quality. Areas south of Yunlin–Chiayi–Tainan will be in a downwind position with relatively weak wind speeds, making it prone to pollutant accumulation. Air quality is greatly influenced by meteorological conditions and remains uncertain, so it’s important to stay updated with the latest air quality information.
