We pooled our tiny savings, hard-earned from part-time jobs and studies, to jointly go north to purchase inventory — taking on modeling, graphic design, packing, and shipping all by ourselves...
Although it only lasted less than half a year before we had to close up shop (we really didn’t have enough hands — two girls just couldn’t manage it %)
But we still worked hard and seriously pursued that beautiful dream!! We briefly made it happen!! Now those two girls have both gotten married and become moms.
One of us is a full-time mom who stays at home all day managing the household and kids, soon to welcome another little one next month — that’s me, your old lady over here –> aka me
The other is a newbie mom busy juggling a KIKI clothing store and family life, constantly burning the candle at both ends, yet has stuck to her dream of running a fashion boutique all along
Little Wei, the godmother, fighting hard for her child ~ and for KIKI
Time flies, and even after so many years, there are now a few more traces of time on our faces
But we sisters are still working so hard to play our current roles well… ((Wow, why did I get all sentimental all of a sudden? Sniffles~))
And the first outdoor location for our online selling photoshoots was none other than “Lichi Café”
The current 0Lichi0 — moved up from its original location in Zhuqiao this April!!

After so many years ~ we’ve visited again!! (What is that number N anyway?! Counting on my fingers…)
Because I was in the late stages of pregnancy, I rushed to take maternity photos in Taichung before the safe delivery date
The night before, I stayed over at my sister’s place — both families came along with kids in tow!! Holding hands big and small, we went on an outing together…
We planned to spend the whole afternoon here, letting urban kids enjoy this expanse of green and run free~
It relocated and was rebuilt because the original lease in Zhuqiao expired
Let’s just say the moment you walk in, you’ll spot this huge blackboard that reads0The one and only, no branches0!! Friends!! Don’t go to the wrong place, okay?!
These two big bears are definitely the café’s treasures!! They steal the entire show… melting hearts of both adults and kids alike~

The interior decor is nothing short of thoughtfully done, with a rural fairy-tale design style — every little detail brimming with adorable charm
If it weren’t for 0our connections0, we’d never get a seat on holidays!! This place has officially become a new foodie landmark in Toufen’s countryside

The indoor space here is amazing for photos — the outdoors is perfect for little ones to run around!! Happiness fills every corner

Walking around the Lichi Pool once already used up nearly a hundred of my shutter clicks, haha!! Phew~ Luckily digital cameras these days are super affordable.

This dish is really heavy on flavor—the best part of roast chicken is definitely that crispy skin~ but the seasoning is a bit on the salty side.
I felt like I needed a bowl of plain rice to go with it to really bring out the taste!! Otherwise, eating just the half chicken~ it’s a bit too salty and greasy.

Yep!! This huge Lichi Pool really does have koi fish!! There’s even a feeder machine nearby where you can feed them.
Kids really get into it easily—just the fish-feeding part alone had them going back and forth so many times!! Haha~
Huang Ba said that halfway through feeding the fish, Huang Xiaowei’s mouth seemed to have something in it—he was eating enthusiastically, which nearly scared him to death!
He asked Huang Xiaowei if he had put the beans meant for the fish into his own mouth!? All Huang Xiaowei did was casually reply, “Nope~”
Eh~~ this little friend here has set a bad example—definitely don’t follow suit, hey~
This little sheep girl is a decoration~~ not for you to climb on, hey… if you don’t get down pronto, I’ll call the owner over!!
