Foreign websites conducted a major survey on annoying behaviors on airplanes among nearly 20,000 travelers from 23 global cities. Based on cultural differences and individual habits, these five annoying behaviors should be strictly avoided during flights to show respect for others.

1. Constantly kicking the seat of the passenger in front
Whether it’s kids or adults, repeatedly kicking or bumping the seat in front causes direct discomfort to the person sitting there, which is why it tops the list of annoying behaviors. Of course, the cramped space can make people want to shift positions often, but if it happens accidentally, a simple apology can go a long way in earning understanding.

2. Wearing too much perfume or having strong body odor
Flights can last several hours or even over ten hours. Strong fragrances or unpleasant body odors can make it hard for nearby passengers to breathe comfortably, or even cause breathing difficulties, discomfort, dizziness, and other symptoms. Next time you fly, remember to be considerate of others and minimize any strong smells.

3. Parents who let their kids run wild
It’s hard to avoid flying with parents traveling with children. But if a child is uncontrollable or overly noisy and the parents do nothing to calm or stop them, it can greatly affect the experience of other passengers.
