The transfer station area is themed around Jimmy Liao’s picture books. Outdoors, there are installations such as an elephant slide and a giraffe lookout tower, while indoors you’ll find a cute black dog ball pit and a cool VR virtual reality experience that immerses you in the world of Jimmy Liao’s stories.

4. Diudiu Forest
Located right in front of Yilan Railway Station, Diudiu Forest features nine 14-meter-tall steel trees symbolizing the nine-chi tree, representing Yilan’s former name, Jiucheng (Nine-Chi City). With picture-book-inspired designs by master artist Jimmy Liao, including a whimsical Jimmy Liao Starry Sky Train and a retro multistory fruit red-brick house nearby, the area exudes a strong artistic and cultural atmosphere.
