An earthquake was felt at 00:31 AM on November 20th. The epicenter was located 38.4 km southeast of Yilan County Government, with a magnitude of 4.6 and a depth of 38.5 km. Areas north of Hsinchu could feel shaking of over magnitude 2.

Following a magnitude 4.9 earthquake at 14:19 on November 19th and a magnitude 4.4 earthquake at 22:40, seismic activity has been relatively frequent, though no significant damage has been reported so far.
