No need to travel abroad to enjoy the beauty of golden ginkgos and red maples. Wuling Farm in Taichung enters its maple and ginkgo viewing season from late October to December every year. To experience such breathtaking scenery in the mountains, it’s essential to book accommodation well in advance—otherwise, even on weekdays, rooms are often fully booked.

Maple and acer trees can be found almost everywhere within Wuling Farm, while ginkgos are mainly concentrated behind Taohua Village.
The ginkgo leaves glow a translucent golden yellow under the sunlight after turning color.

As the season gets colder, the ginkgos become increasingly more yellow.

With some luck, you might even catch a stunning sunrise.
If you stay overnight at the farm, a beautiful sunrise awaits the next morning, weather permitting.
The maple leaves in the farm also gradually turn red as the season progresses.
