Romance at its peak: Paris’s first riverside hotel to open

Paris’s first riverside hotel is set to open, bringing travelers an even more distinctive experience in this romantic and elegant city.According to Lonely Planet, this hotel, named OFF Hotel, is located right on the banks of the Seine. It features 54 rooms, 4 suites, a bar, and more. Situated between the Left Bank and Right Bank, it offers stunning views.

Its design combines modern aesthetics with historical elements, created by a local French studio specializing in floating architecture. In addition to the water views, guests can easily head ashore—just a walk along the riverbank takes you to the city center, where you can reach the Eiffel Tower and Notre-Dame Cathedral.

In fact, Paris is working on a riverside revitalization plan, as these areas were previously covered by roads. Parisians hope to reconnect with the riverbanks. Mayor Anne Hidalgo has also pledged that by 2024, people will be able to swim in the river again, returning to the lifestyle of living by the water. The Left Bank area will also feature cafes and children’s play zones.
