Good news for kids Up↑!Are parents still worried about having nowhere to go during the Children’s Day holiday? The Taipei Children’s Month event offers plenty of discounts for children under 12. As long as you’re within the campaign period, just bring your student ID, National Health Insurance card, or the Children’s Month brochure, and you can ride the Maokong Gondola for free, enjoy the New Children’s Amusement Park, and even head up to Taipei 101’s observatory to take in the beautiful views!
“We want every day to feel like Children’s Day for kids!” A wide range of fun activities have been planned during the Children’s Month. Through collaboration and promotion by schools, the goal is to help children create more wonderful memories on this special day.
The Children’s Month activities are divided into various programs such as “Big Eyes See the World,” “Micro Dreams Travel,” “Little Designers,” “Different Cultures,” and more. These initiatives aim to introduce children to the cultural customs of different countries, along with many fun challenge games. Starting from March 28, the Little International Village challenge event has been held at the National Taiwan Science Education Center, with 40 schools participating by setting up booths. On the day, one adult and one child entering the New Children’s Amusement Park can enjoy free admission.

What’s even better for parents is that taking the kids out to explore during Children’s Month—on Children’s Day itself, April 4—elementary school students with a student ID or National Health Insurance card can enjoy free entry whether they’re riding the Maokong Gondola, visiting the New Children’s Amusement Park, the Taipei Fine Arts Museum, or the Astronomy Science Museum! If students bring the Children’s Month brochure, they can also get free admission in April to the Shung Ye Museum of Formosan Aborigines, Taipei 101 Observatory, and the National Taiwan Museum, allowing families to enjoy parent-child trips without worrying about breaking the bank!
