On the 27th and 28th, affected by the northeast monsoon, the northward movement of southern cloud systems, and peripheral moisture from Tropical Depression Tianyu (formerly Typhoon Tianyu), northern and northeastern Taiwan will have cooler weather, while other areas will also be cooler in the morning and evening. Be sure to dress warmly. There will be localized brief showers across Taiwan, including Penghu, Kinmen, and Matsu. It’s advisable to carry an umbrella when going out.

Starting from the evening of the 28th (Wednesday), temperatures will drop significantly again, and the probability of rainfall will also decrease. The cooling will begin in the north, and as cold air moves southward, starting from the 29th (Thursday), central and southern areas north of Chiayi will also see noticeably low temperatures. Morning temperatures could drop to as low as 16°C, so take extra care to stay warm.
