1. Qihou Battery
Built in the late Qing Dynasty, Qihou Battery is one of Qijin’s most famous attractions and a treasured Grade II historic site. From this historic fortress, you can enjoy panoramic views of Kaohsiung’s urban landscape and gaze upon the stunning heart-shaped bay — a supremely romantic experience.

2. Qijin Shell Museum
Located on the second floor of the Visitor Center at Qijin Coast Park, Qijin San Road, Qijin Shell Museum houses one of the most extensive shell collections in Taiwan, featuring around 2,000 types of shellfish and over 200 species of crab specimens. After your museum visit, head to Qijin Coast Park to admire the sea views and take photos with the Golden Sea Pearl art installation.

3. Qijin Windmill Park
Qijin Windmill Park connects to the scenic walking path of Qijin Fishing Port and takes advantage of the area's abundant wind resources with seven uniquely designed three-bladed windmills. The park features an ocean-view platform, a performance square, and creative marine life mosaics, making it Qijin’s most healing destination. It’s great for a bike ride and relaxing while feeling the sea breeze.

4. Qijin Starry Tunnel
The Qijin Tunnel, which runs through Qihou Mountain, was originally a military defense tunnel built during the Japanese colonial period. Renovated in 2005, it was transformed into a “starry tunnel” for visitors and cyclists. The tunnel is lined with wooden walkways, adorned with zodiac-themed night lights, driftwood, and glow-in-the-dark stones. Coupled with the gentle sea breeze, it creates a romantic atmosphere as if you’re strolling under a starlit sky.
