The 2018 Nantou Beikengxi Hot Spring Carnival grandly opened at the Atayal Resort. To attract more visitors, free admission was offered to the public before 11 AM on December 2.

In addition to the main attraction of hot spring bathing, local dining, accommodation, and coffee businesses also joined the event with promotions, allowing travelers to easily experience the beauty along the Beikengxi area.

The Beikengxi Hot Spring Carnival also invited many singers, bands, and local indigenous performance groups to liven up the atmosphere. It also featured an online influencer as the "Hot Spring Goddess," along with various family-friendly activities to immerse everyone in the joyful carnival mood.

Beikeng in Xiongxin Township discovered its hot spring source over 30 years ago, and its excellent water quality is well renowned. The surrounding culture blends Hakka and indigenous heritage, allowing visitors to enjoy the natural scenery while also learning through fun experiences.
