TransAsia Airways launches a "Peng Jinhua" themed cabin – even the headrest covers and paper cups are adorable!

TransAsia Airways has introduced a "Peng Jinhua" themed cabin for its domestic routes. The airline stated that some of its ATR 72-600 aircraft operating domestic flights have been revamped into Peng Jinhua-themed cabins. From the headrest covers to in-flight amenities such as wet wipes and paper cups, all feature illustrations of Peng Jinhua – a young, energetic, and budget-conscious girl. From July 18th until the end of this year, passengers flying on domestic routes to Penghu, Kinmen, and Hualien have the chance to experience it!

TransAsia Airways stated that Peng Jinhua is the airline’s domestic route ambassador launched earlier this year – a young, energetic, and budget-conscious girl. Her name was inspired by the three destinations: Penghu, Kinmen, and Hualien. During the peak summer travel season, some ATR 72-600 aircraft operating domestic routes have been transformed into Peng Jinhua-themed cabins. From the headrest covers to in-flight amenities such as wet wipes and paper cups, all feature illustrations of Peng Jinhua, aiming to offer passengers a brand-new flying experience.

Peng Jinhua won’t just keep you company on the plane – her Facebook fan page (https://goo.gl/mqVqnz) is also running an event to give away round-trip domestic flight tickets for two people, with the deadline set for July 20th. Meanwhile, starting today, passengers checking in at counters in Songshan, Taichung, Kaohsiung, Hualien, Makung, and Kinmen will receive the “Peng Jinhua Bulletin,” which features specially curated attractions and local delicacies in Penghu, Kinmen, and Hualien. Passengers holding a TransAsia boarding pass can enjoy exclusive treats or discounts at the featured partner merchants listed in the bulletin – from free snacks, one-night hotel stays, to discounted seafood feasts.
