When flying, many people enjoy sitting by the window to take in the views of different cities. But have you ever imagined what it would be like if those tiny airplane windows were replaced with floor-to-ceiling ones?
U.S. airline Spike Aerospace previously unveiled the design concept of the S-512 private jet, introducing an innovative aircraft design that creates the visual effect of a sea of clouds.
This so-called visual effect is achieved by replacing traditional glass windows with ultra-thin screens that project live views of the outside scenery through projection devices. And this design isn’t just for aesthetics—reportedly, it can effectively reduce the aircraft's weight, increase its speed, and cut the flight time from New York to London to just 3–4 hours—half the current duration.
