As winter approaches, everyone is getting ready to ski in Japan or Korea. But who would’ve thought that sunny, beach-filled Bangkok could offer a winter escape too? After saying goodbye to sunshine and beaches, head to Snow Town, which opened in July. The 3,000-square-meter venue features artificial snow about 40 cm deep—perfect for skiing or building a snowman.
If you go at noon, you can even catch a 1-minute snowfall show. The romantic scene of snowflakes falling all around guarantees the most Instagram-worthy photos. Even if you don’t have gear, you can rent everything on-site, and there are instructors available to help—how thoughtful is that?
