The Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Hong Kong has come up with something new again. This time in collaboration withTaiwan’s super popular online illustrator“Shuangchou Mao”they have launched the Cantonese version of the “Shuangchou Mao Taiwan Tourism Map,” featuring 29selected spots spread across northern, central, southern, eastern Taiwan, and outlying islands,illustrated based on the “personalities” of the three illustrators of “Shuangchou Mao.”
What’s particularly special about this mapis that the descriptive text is written in “Cantonese,” showing great sincerity. Duringthe creative process, the office and the illustrators coordinated multiple times to select several off-the-beaten-path spots with the most “local character,” such as “Binjiang Street Airplane Alley,” “Wai Shuangxi Fishing Pond,” “Dihua Street,” “Anping Tree House,” and others.
Mr. Wu Zonglin, Director of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Hong Kong, along with a group of illustrators and guests, held a public art exhibition yesterday atEslite Spectrum Causeway Bay in Hong Kong
The map will be available for free starting November 25 during office hours at the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Hong Kong, located at Room 1010, Tower 2, Sun Hung Kai Centre, 30 Canton Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon.
Andthe office has also recently introduced ‘Fruit Picking Vouchers’ as one of the new options for great travel gifts to Taiwan. It aims to allow travelers to experience fruit picking through agritourism, while directly packing up some “sunshine, air, and water” to experience the beauty of Taiwan.
In addition to the 29 attractions on the aforementioned map, Fever Travel has also prepared over 100 carefully selected Taiwanese attractions for everyone. The list of attractions will be updated from time to time, so stay tuned.
