Kanahei’s limited-time store “Kanahei’s Gacha World” will incorporate gashapon culture. The adorable characters Toto and P-suke will also appear at the pop-up shop to introduce the history and development of Taiwan’s gashapon culture, giving everyone a deeper understanding of this fun pastime. Right at the entrance, there’s a 2-meter-tall gashapon machine where you can win imported Japanese items such as the giant P-suke pancake plush pillow. Each wall outside the shop features super cute and healing photo spots, and Taiwan’s micro-block expert Dai Lego has created an adorable installation art piece using aluminum cans to form P-suke and Toto characters.
The pop-up shop’s merchandise includes not only Taiwan-exclusive limited-edition goods like “Kanahei Box Toys,” but also venue-limited items directly shipped from Japan, plus hundreds of Kanahei-themed daily-life items such as stationery and accessories. New items are introduced every week to ensure that every visit feels fresh. Even more exciting—during specific time slots each day of the event, P-suke and Toto will make appearances, interact with visitors, and take photos together.
There are plenty of activities at the pop-up shop: during the first four days of the opening, the first 500 visitors each day who check in on-site will receive a beautifully crafted Kanahei gift. During the New Year’s period from December 29 to January 1, simply post your check-in on social media platforms to receive one of the 500 daily limited gifts. Additionally, for the opening celebration, regardless of spending amount, uploading your receipt to the official fan page could win you a full reimbursement by the organizers. Over the Lunar New Year holiday, customers who spend above a certain amount will receive a Kanahei “A Fresh Start” card, and can also take a wish card to hang on the exterior wall for a chance to win prizes. Limited-edition Kanahei lucky bags will also be on sale during the New Year period, along with bonus giveaways—fans, hurry on over!
