The Beautiful Life Cinemas in Tamsui’s Danhai New Town has created a shopping mall integrated with a cinema, “Danhai Beautiful Life Square,” spanning approximately 8,000 pings. This cinema has also become the only movie theater in Tamsui and officially opened ahead of schedule on December 12, attracting long queues with a special 99 NT dollar movie ticket event on opening day, creating a lively atmosphere.

On opening day, the cinema offered 99 NT dollar movie tickets, drawing large crowds.
Spanning over 3,000 pings, “Beautiful Life Danhai Cinemas” features one IMAX-style giant screen hall and eight standard digital theaters, all equipped with top-tier projection and audio systems comparable to those at the Dazhi Beautiful Life Cinemas. Anticipating the many young families in Tamsui, the cinema also plans to introduce a family-friendly theater in the future.
The giant screen hall in the cinema uses an ultra-large screen measuring 25 meters wide and 13.5 meters tall, along with an RGB 4K pure laser film system and DTS:X immersive sound equipment.
As for the mall itself, it is expected to officially open on March 3, 2019, featuring specialty dining restaurants, trendy lifestyle brands, and family entertainment spaces. With food, shopping, and leisure all under one roof, it offers Tamsui residents a brand-new recreational destination—no more need to trek all the way to Taipei City for movies and shopping.
