Ever thought the beach could be turned into a canvas? French artist Sam Dougados has created numerous sand artworks along the coast of Biarritz in southwestern France, his hometown, featuring abstract geometric patterns and text to produce works that blend naturally and harmoniously with their surroundings.
Beyond France, he has also showcased his creations in Spain, Morocco, the UK, Jersey, Bermuda, Ireland, Portugal, and other locations, leaving his sandy footprints around the world.
However, when the beach serves as a canvas, the artworks inevitably disappear with the tide. The French artist Sam Dougados says this is the art returning to nature, hoping people can live in the moment, appreciate the beauty before them, keep the most stunning scenes in their minds, and truly enjoy life.
