If tofu with crispy pork belly rice is a man’s idea of romance, no wonder they don’t understand women, because...
Traveling with your besties means shopping together, eating together, taking crazy selfies, swapping clothes, talking about life and hot guys, and even getting naked together for a spa session. In Thailand, a vacation paradise seemingly tailor-made for girls’ trips, the moment we landed, we headed straight for Bangkok’s newest and largest Divana Nurture Spa  !

Those familiar with Thailand must have heard of the Divana spa brand, which has won numerous spa awards, including the World Luxury Spa Awards. It currently has five branches in Bangkok, each offering different architectural styles and treatment options.
Divana massage & spa (Thai Boutique Spa): Traditional Thai style / BTS: Exit 6 at Asoke
Divana Divine Spa (Oriental Organic Spa): Oriental garden design / BTS: Exit 3 at Thonglor
Divana Virtue Spa & Medical: Colonial-style villa / BTS: Exit 1 at Surasak
Dii Wellness Med Spa: Ultra-modern / BTS: Exit 5 at Ploenchit

This time, on a trip with my best friends, I chose to visit the Divana Nurture Spa, which opened earlier this year in the city center on Sukhumvit Soi 11. As soon as we stepped inside, we saw a modern Thai-style villa in the garden, surrounded by lush greenery, giving off a serene and cozy vibe. This is Bangkok’s first spa center that blends traditional Thai and oriental holistic therapies, using a diverse range of treatments to provide comprehensive relaxation and wellness for both the mind and body.

Stepping out of our flip-flops and into the oak wood-floored lobby, we were greeted by a fragrant aroma. It turns out that next to the reception area, there are shelves stacked with Divana’s own brand of massage and skincare products, such as essential oils, shower gels, hand creams, and lip balms—with a wide selection of scents, among which I personally recommend the mango flavor. The Spa House is designed around a lotus theme, extending from the lotus pond outside the door to the potted plants, and even the abstract geometric patterns on the walls. Coupled with earthy color tones (green, brown, gray, gold) used throughout the space, it creates a tranquil atmosphere.

One of the reasons I think this spa is perfect for a girls’ trip is that, besides offering 14 double rooms, it also has two triple rooms—so you don’t have to split up with your two best friends and can enjoy your spa session while having heart-to-heart chats. That’s the ultimate luxury.

This time, we opted for the Spa Chanti Treatment (130 minutes / 2,850 THB), which consists of three parts: foot soaking, an organic detox scrub, and an organic warm oil massage. Before leading us to our room on the second floor, the staff had already let us choose the scent of the scrub and massage oil we wanted in the lobby. Meanwhile, the therapist also asked us about our preferred pressure level and which areas needed more or less massage—very thoughtful.

Each type of scrub has different benefits:
Green olive (green): Moisturizes dry skin
Rose: Whitens and fights aging
Green tea (black): Provides deep body cleansing and aids detoxification
Berry blend: Enhances skin glow and improves dullness

Entering the triple room, we found it spacious and fully equipped with a bathroom and toilet, plus two large lotus bathtubs for soaking. After changing into bathrobes, the therapist first treated our feet with salt and milk, then spent an hour massaging our entire bodies with the scrub. The sticky-textured scrub emitted a faint fruity fragrance as it was applied, and the granules weren’t too rough, so there was no need to worry about skin abrasion.

Throughout the session, the therapist also took special care of thicker-skinned areas like elbows and knees. Immediately afterward, our skin felt noticeably smoother, and the treatment helped detoxify our bodies, clear lymph nodes, and promote blood circulation. Though the scrub felt sticky, it washed off easily with water.

Next came the organic warm oil massage, where the therapist used skilled and gentle techniques to work on my usually tense muscles. An hour truly wasn’t enough, but I still felt like I’d been reborn. We were also reminded to wait at least two hours before showering after the massage, so the skin could fully absorb the massage oil for better results. After the session, fruit and hot tea were served.
