After the Tourism Bureau launched the warm winter travel subsidies for Yilan, Hualien, Taitung, Kaohsiung, and Pingtung in November, the response has been extremely enthusiastic. To sustain the momentum of domestic travel, the Tourism Bureau has introduced an additional subsidy program from January 1 to January 31 next year; the following seven key application steps make it easy to GET the travel subsidy!

1.Subsidy Implementation Period
January 1 to January 31, 2019. Fridays and Saturdays are not included in the subsidy period.

2.Eligible Counties and Cities for Subsidy
All 22 counties and cities in Taiwan, including outlying islands, are eligible, regardless of whether you're traveling independently or as part of a group tour.

3.How Much Is the Subsidy
NT$1000 subsidy per room for independent travelers, with an additional NT$500 subsidy for travelers aged 60 and above or under 30.

4.How to Apply for the Subsidy
No prior application is required. Simply present your ID card when checking in to receive the subsidy discount.
