To welcome the Year of the Golden Pig, Starbucks launched five new Lunar New Year gift sets on January 1, 2019. These include the newly developed “Starbucks Classic Biscuit,” crafted by a century-old French manufacturer, offering delicate aroma and a lingering flavor; and fan favorites “Wishing Bucket” and “Seaweed Pork Floss Biscuit” are also making a comeback this year.

The “Starbucks Classic Biscuit” Lunar New Year gift set features a pressed Starbucks logo combined with a luxurious and vibrant purple French-inspired design. This set, developed specifically for the Lunar New Year, contains 60 pieces (30 servings) of classic biscuits made by a century-old French manufacturer, which pair beautifully with various beverages to evoke a sense of timeless tranquility.

The “Wishing Bucket” includes three exclusive Starbucks cookies (Coffee Roll Pastry, Strawberry Chocolate Roll, White Chocolate Black Sesame Crisp), all delicious and delightful. The bucket comes with a Starbucks blessing card that also features a surprise redemption prize (a friend-sharing coupon).
The Wishing Bucket is priced at NT$420.
The “Seaweed Pork Floss Biscuit” combines Starbucks’ best-selling French-style biscuit with Taiwan’s beloved pork floss, resulting in a crispy and refreshing treat. Each bite delivers the rich savory taste of pork floss, offering a delightful mix of sweet and salty flavors with a layered texture, symbolizing a fulfilling blend of Eastern and Western richness.
The Seaweed Pork Floss Biscuit is priced at NT$500.
The “Gold Coin Chocolate Piggy Bank” is presented in the form of a piggy bank for the Year of the Pig, modeled after a retro-style little pig savings bank, featuring a twistable nose opening, symbolizing wealth rolling in during the Year of the Pig. It contains 15 small gold coin chocolates.
The Gold Coin Chocolate Piggy Bank is priced at NT$380.
