Watch out for the MRT—Oh Bear is on the loose!! The 2016 Taiwan Cycling Festival's painted train is now adorable and on the move

Oh Bear is here!! Starting July 25, the first wave of painted trains for the Taiwan Cycling Festival will be running on Taipei MRT’s Tamsui-Xinyi Line. To promote the “2016 Taiwan Cycling Festival” hosted by the Tourism Bureau of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications, just snap a photo of Oh Bear Chief in the MRT, upload it to the official fan page to share and like, and you could win exclusive limited-edition gifts endorsed by Oh Bear Chief himself.

A series of events under the “2016 Taiwan Cycling Festival” have begun rolling out, including its flagship activities—the KOM Taiwan King of the Mountain Cycling Challenge, Formosa 900, and Sun Moon Lake Come Bikeday—which are now open for registration. The Tourism Bureau has gone a step further by launching the Oh Bear painted train, using six themed settings—"Mountain", "Lake", "Sea", "Highway", "City", and "Park"—along with Oh Bear Chief’s lively and charming poses to convey the message that “Cycling is for everyone, everywhere.”

At the end of July, the “On the MRT, Ride with Oh Bear” campaign will also kick off. Just snap a photo of Oh Bear Chief in the MRT, upload it to the official fan page to share and like, and you could win exclusive limited-edition gifts endorsed by Oh Bear Chief himself. The Tourism Bureau stated that there will also be a second wave of painted trains on Taipei MRT, expected to launch on the Ban-Nan Line in mid-August.
