Taipei Railway Station’s 125th Anniversary Commemorative Ticket Set Goes on Sale July 28 – Limited to 800 Sets

With recent renovations to Taipei Railway Station’s landscape completed, the Taiwan Railways Administration (TRA) held a celebration ceremony titled “Taipei Railway Station’s 125th Anniversary and Landscape Project Inauguration” on the 28th. In addition to commemorating the station’s 125th anniversary, the event also featured the limited release of 800 sets of commemorative platform tickets.

Taipei Railway Station has recently undergone landscape renovation work, improving aging structures while also upgrading the exterior appearance of the station. To celebrate the completion of the landscape project, TRA will hold a ceremony in the multifunctional performance area on the 28th to mark the station’s 125th anniversary.At 8:00 AM that morning, the commemorative platform ticket set for “Taipei Railway Station’s 125th Anniversary and Completion of the Landscape Project” will go on sale in the station’s main hall. Additionally, TRA’s Catering and Travel Service Headquarters will offer a 10% discount on boxed meals and railway merchandise for eligible customers.

Boxed Meal and Railway Merchandise 10% Discount Eligibility
(1) Those whose ID number or birthdate contains a consecutive sequence of “125.”
(2) Holders of TRA tickets purchased this year (purchase location not restricted), whose ticket displays a consecutive “125.”
This discount applies once per single transaction per person based on the above conditions, with no limit on the number of separate eligible transactions.
