Clothing Guide for Long-Distance Road Trips with Your Baby During the Spring Festival
It’s essential to pack enough clothes for your baby when taking a long-distance road trip during the Spring Festival to prevent them from getting cold or catching a cold.
1. Baby Clothing
Try to pack as many clothes as possible for your baby, as you may not have time to do laundry during the trip. In summer, opt for cotton, sweat-absorbent clothing. For babies under one year old, carry an extra set of clean clothes in case they wet themselves and need a change.
2. Hats and Socks
Don’t forget to put a hat on your baby. A hat serves the dual purpose of keeping them warm and protecting them from the sun, and it can also shield them from wind and rain—making it an essential part of your baby’s outfit. Additionally, some shopping malls can be very cold, so it’s a good idea to put socks on your baby to keep their hands and feet warm.
3. Bibs, Handkerchiefs, and Light Blankets
During the trip, your baby might fall asleep, so bringing a light blanket is very necessary. Don’t choose anything too thick—a towel blanket will do. Bibs and handkerchiefs can be used if your baby drools.
4. Diapers, Wet Wipes, and Tissues
Even if your baby doesn’t usually use diapers at home, they might need them while traveling—better safe than sorry. Wet wipes are also a must; you can bring small packets and remember to frequently clean your baby’s mouth and hands.
