Southern residents traveling to Guam: Free Taoyuan Airport accommodation or free shuttle service between Taipei and Kaohsiung

To celebrate the increased flights to Guam, China Airlines is offering various promotional activities for travelers from Chiayi and areas southward between September 1 and October 31, including complimentary accommodation or free shuttle service between Taipei and Kaohsiung.

Since adjusting its direct flights to Guam to daily service at the end of October last year, China Airlines added a Saturday flight on July 1, increasing the weekly direct flights to five. The Guam Tourism Board stated that during the promotion period, travelers from Chiayi and areas southward can enjoy different benefits depending on their departure date. Those departing on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays will receive one Novotel Taiwan Taoyuan Airport Hotel accommodation voucher (including breakfast for two). For those departing on Wednesdays and Sundays, China Airlines provides a complimentary same-day outbound high-speed rail or north–south shuttle segment. (Accommodation is limited to the night before departure, outbound journeys require a minimum of two passengers, limited to double occupancy, not applicable for solo travelers; extra bed/occupancy fees must be arranged directly with the hotel)
