Tainan’s Latest “Nighttime Love Sanctuary” – Streetlights Cast Giant Hearts on Open Books

In Lingding Park near Guanziling in Tainan, a brand-new couples’ must-visit spot called “Blessings Under the Streetlights” has recently been created as part of the planning by the Siraya National Scenic Area. The installation features an open large-format book with a giant ring placed on top. When the streetlights are turned on at night, they naturally form a heart shape on the book, making it incredibly romantic for nighttime photos.

The “Blessings Under the Streetlights” at Lingding Park in Guanziling uses the melody of the Guanziling Love Song as its background, transforming the musical score into a physical form. A large-format book-shaped art installation displays the contents of the song, which depict the beauty and scenery of Guanziling. A ring is placed on top of the large book. The Siraya National Scenic Area Office noted that when couples stand in front of the book at night, they can see the ring take on the shape of a heart under the streetlights.

The specially designed angle makes what appears to be a regular ring during the daytime transform into a heart shape at night, shining on the book. Couples who take photos standing under the heart feel as if they are receiving a blessing of love. Because of this, the new attraction has been named “Blessings Under the Streetlights.” Its unique and creative design has also attracted many couples to visit specifically for photos.
