1.Little Wulai Scenic Area
Start your day by heading up to Fuxing Township to experience mountain strolls and family-friendly water play. As you walk through the area, you’ll feel the serene thrill of weaving through deep valleys, the gentle cool breeze brushing your hair, and the surrounding dense forests along with mysterious waterfalls hidden among the trees — it’s as if you’ve stepped into a secluded paradise away from the hustle and bustle.

2.Old Baiji Tunnel
As you make your way down the mountain, you’ll arrive at the Old Baiji Tunnel in Taoyuan’s Daxi District. Built in 1944 during the Japanese colonial period for transportation, air defense, and evacuation purposes, it also served as an important strategic point. After decades, the Old Baiji Tunnel has been revitalized into a sightseeing and recreational pathway, perfect for families to take leisurely walks and explore the historical traces left within the tunnel.

3.Daxi Bridge
Driving toward the city center, you’ll see the Daxi Bridge spanning the Dahan River, located beneath Zhongzheng Park. It connects the left bank bicycle path of the Dahan River and is open for pedestrians and cyclists. In addition to the cable lighting design that illuminates the riverside at night, beautifying the Dahan River’s evening scenery, the bridge features a Baroque architectural style similar to that of Daxi Old Street. Its two ends connect Section 1 of Daxi Ruian Road and Daxi Old Street, offering beautiful views both day and night.

4.Daping Red Bridge
After exploring the old street, you can also visit the nearby Daping Red Bridge. One of Taiwan’s top 100 historic buildings, the Daping Red Bridge was built in 1923 in Sanjing Village, Longtan District. It earned its name because the entire bridge is constructed with red bricks and has been registered as a Taoyuan Municipal Historic Site. The area around Daping Red Bridge has now been developed into a water-friendly park, making it a great spot for leisure.
